I’d say it was a chance to go out and get a better job. The Fargo barn is starting to lose drivers, they are down 5 or 6 P&D drivers according to another friend of mine there.
I got jobs for a few of the linehaul guys from there and Minot where I’m at. Right now I’m probably public enemy number one there.![]()

Welllllllll...I turned that job down because I got a better offer in omaha last Wednesday buttttt they ghosted me Monday and most of Tuesday calling me late in the day saying oooops we forgot about you , which was BS cause I left them 3 messages.
Finally they called back again saying they didn't have any empty trucks .
To say the least I was ticked off !
Sooooo it was back to the drawing board yesterday and wa laaaaa by the end of the day I was hired at stans Inc of alpena ,SD as a jack links regional driver .....I leave for orientation on Sunday.Speed_Drums, Lonesome, Knucklehead and 6 others Thank this. -

I think with the decline in the freight biz and trucking companies dropping like flies there are alot of drivers looking for jobs so trucking companies being the prostitutes that they are for the most part have a don't give a dam attitude towards drivers these days .
I know of 2 drivers at Morehouse that will be gone the minute they find something better .
My prediction is that when things turn around this attitude is going to bite a few companies in the arse ....I will definitely remember Morehouses attitude towards me when I left along with hill bros. And Don hummer .....drivers with clean mvrs and psp scores will eventually get the last laugh on this ....im sure my clean record and work history is why stans had me hired in 6 hours .
What also hurts the driver market around here is that so many small companies around here have been bought out or closed in the last 5 years and ones choices here have really gotten slim but there's still plenty of jobs if you arnt to picky .Lonesome, Knucklehead, Sirscrapntruckalot and 6 others Thank this. -
