Please let us know all of the details. I especially want to know if there is a sign-on bonus. Thanks.

i dont think so for company drivers just for outside guys ---- but i will let you know--- you have to average 2400 miles a week or your better off with the company i am around 2900 now most of the lease guys i have talked too are getting closer to 3500

The lease guys are getting 3500 solo? I am really looking forward to your updates. I am planning on doing this in the middle of January.

I'm not quite surprised...the lease guys (IIRC) can go 66-67. Quite a difference between that and 62, especially outside heavy urban areas.

well the truck is set to 68 cruise can be set to 70 , and some will get 72 but officially at 68/70 so let you know next week lol ---- heres some hillbilly logic --- that speed difference will gain you around 500 miles over a company truck in a 70 hr week and say you were a load planner and you had a 720 mile trip a company driver cant make it in a shift if he pushes it he might make it in 23 hours with a break a o/p can be there in 1 shift and its a drop load so asap works then the other load is 350 miles with the appointment 28 hours away with a live unload at a grocery wharehouse and theres an o/op and a company truck in area who would get the better trip or you could tender both loads to the o/op which one is he going to take ---- then theres the 250 p.c. miles per day which baisiclly adds to your 70 hrs if done right and better still will prevents you from starting your 14 hr clock when a company driver gets screwed a lot with that --- well i also get to pick my own dm and change on a whim if things arent working out --- and then theres the fuel stops and some of the company ones are out of route and a pain to get in and out of --- i still will fuel at strafford mo if only out of habit -- i figuire the fuel stops cost me an average of a wasted 3 hrs out of a 70 ---- they are in the habit of giving the o/ops and teams more drop and hooks thats a fact -- its going to be nice being able to turn down loads even though i am not planning on doing too much of it as it most likely isnt going to pay off in the long run -- and really nice to be able to pick from 2 or 3 runs --- and guess who has to take the trips the o/ops dont --- i have went on hometime and get within 100 miles and have to take a 10 hr break -- now i can just p,c, those miles --- well thats some of the benifits lol
