Well i dont believe it... showed up at kroger 10 till 1700, and left just over two hours later. There were a whole bunch of trucks coming in who im sure werent 19 hours late. I figured id be the last truck unloaded today. Also thankful i didnt have to deal with 45k of floor loaded litter.

Maybe i should call in and ask for @MidWest_MacDaddy 's solo load to cali :)

I'm wussing out for today. This has been a crappy day. I'm still 5 hrs out and did only 381 miles in 8 hrs. I'm worn out.

I really don't know who was smoking what, but this was not doable in real life. Oh, well.

    Night all.

I got caught up in that nitro wv mess myself. Took 3hrs 32mins to go from mm51 to the 45xt where I ran 62 up. That was bad. I know trucking will kill me, but I hope I don't burn to death. Prayers for that driver and all involved. I passed someone in a freightliner in that backup. Don't know if it was you or not. This week has been great. I've got two preplans on me. By the time I do those 2 runs and get back to the house, I'll hit 3200 miles this week easy.

I'm FREE!!!! Out of LA after 4 days of playing shuttle driver for teams, mechanic, dispatch, and a full day (42hrs) layover. Reset to a 70.

Called my DM this morning and told him only two things make me tired, running hard and sitting. Which would you rather?

Got a broker load from SFS to El Paso TX. :D ... made the Loves in Benson AZ with 290 miles to target.

    I'm FREEEEE!!!! LOL :)

The temp is normally on my Trip Orders.
Did it not say? And yes, after a bit it will become more of a habit kind of thing.

Yes it does... I had to rescue a load tonight... Traded a 740 mile run for a 160 mile rescue.

But, I showed up two hours early to a Walmart DC and they put me right into a door... Now I wonder how long until I am empty... :)

And it was enough to more or less fill my clock for the day so I guess that's ok and we'll see what the morning brings.

Oh, and I spoke to our new HR Manager since the trainees were told about open enrollment starting the 15th and no one here had heard about it yet.... It's actually starting next week and we should all get an email about it as soon as they get the software set up for a mass mailing.
