3 truck keys, all secured snug inside the locked truck.

That sucks...sorry to hear about it.

I've been there, done that, which is why one truck key stays on my personal house and car key chain. That key is always in my pants pocket. The only time it leaves it's "home" is when I change after a shower and it goes from one pair of jeans to the other.

I have one that stays in the truck that has extra padlock keys, my Keychain that also has padlock keys, then a key for my wife. I normally put the contentsof my pockets in one pile on the table. For some reason, my keychain was not in that pile this morning, and I needed a restroom rather urgently. So, I have to figure out how to keep this from happening again. Sure glad it's not hot outside.

I have a QC in my truck to,If you push the button top right hand corner (one with the head on it) for about 30 sec. it will reboot the QC system.
I all so bought a wireless keyboard with a mouse pad built into it and works great.

Try a wireless key board with a built in mouse pad. I like a large buttons!

Try a wireless key board,it works great. Just plug the small thumb drive into the side of QC.,and your off and running. And if you move to another truck, take it with you. The I have is good up to 33 ft. away.

    KD5AXG Thanks this.

Try this, if you're rolling off duty on a lot for dropping or picking up a trailer, shut off your engine, ignition off, apply the parking brake for a few seconds. Start engine again and start rolling off the yard. This works for me since the update of the Qualcomm, it keeps me on off duty. I always do it to save some minutes. I have a Volvo, not sure if this works with all trucks.

Thought about it and I might. Not the button size so much (I use a pen as to type) but just all switching between letters, charectors, caps and what not. Not mention how #### slow it is for EVERYTHING! But a keyboard would help. Too bad I didn't know. I have a nice one in storage in PA ... lol
