You are paid a salary wage during training. One of the trainers in here can tell you what it is because I am not sure, but it is decent.

Paid per day/week, the debate continues... lol

    Stage 1 is $500/week
    Stage 2 is $600/week
    Stage 3 is $700/week

Pretty sure those numbers are accurate.
Then once you go solo, 36 CPM for 6mos.

During training that's a per week salary.
After training the CPM is all dispatched miles.
It doesn't matter if you are loaded or not.

A few of us have gotten together and decided we want to get decals made in memory of Glenn "Hardhead" Minnix. Let me know if any of you are interested and I'll make sure to get y'all one.

Ok, so after waiting 4.5 hours yesterday get a msg to head to Gadsden AL to pick up and go to Social Circle GA. 480 dh 174 loaded. Get to receiver, get unloaded, send in my mty... and get a dh move to Wytheville - 365 miles and thru Charlotte where the riots are going on. Really? Nothing to pick up even remotely close? We have several places we pick up down here, not even 50 miles from where I am. Seems our new SE planner sucks at planning. Every weekend I get knocked out of getting a long run out of Richmond for one reason or another.

    And yes, I'm venting.

For us newbies, please update us as to who Hardhead was etc? Unfortunately, I don't think I knew him.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear he is Rusty.

We live SW of Charlotte. Last nights news looked as if most people were there just mulling around and just there... of course just one spark and poof... never know.

If you are coming up I85 from the south catch 321 in Gastonia, honk at me as you drive by, and take it up to I40 east... you can bypass the city completely and 321 is a four lane highway too. Easy, and safe, way to get around town.

    Stay Safe
