Nope. It's Saturday and my HT starts Sunday. I'm sure it'll be a pretty standard smoke blowing gig. Would be nice if they would entertain suggestions from the drivers. Won't hold my breath on that one. If I'm in the area I'll be there. Free vittles is always good and I'd love to walk through the museum again. :)

It means you will be very well acquainted with the Dulles toll road.

Got home 4 am Monday morning after running all night. Doctors appt at 9 am Monday for me, 2 on Tuesday for my mother, & all sorts of running to do. Was supposed to be home Saturday night for 3 days off. Ran nights from Thursday on. Got a call this morning from Mr. A. Jones wondering when I'd be ready to roll today. Um, tomorrow, was my reply. Actually, since I was supposed to have 3 days off, technically I wouldn't be back until Friday, but need the miles so I'm not going to be witchy about it. I believe they may have wanted me on one of those cost plus runs. Hope I am not around for this meeting. Don't care about the free food. And I'm sure I'll hear all about it from you guys, so I'm good.

I've never given a rat's butt about a mandatory company meeting. Just pay me when you're suppose to and I'm good.

They already own us, well that's what I keep hearing from drivers of other companies.

I got a hook load with a pickup time of 6am this morning. Got here at 1pm and not only is the trailer not loaded, they don't have all the product on site and don't know when it will arrive.

My 14 is up so I have changed into my jammies and don't intend to lose any sleep wondering if I will reach the consignee by appt time tomorrow.

I would get a bad feeling about a broker load that *didnt* have any problems.
