Is it safe to hit the Richmond yard yet?. I deliver in Richmond tomorrow morning and need to grab my new permit book, but don't want to get stuck there.

Interesting First Post you have there...

Public Forum responding to Public Statements.

No JB did not train me but I wish he had.

JB also knows that I am always open to his Counceling about Driving or this Thread. Either openly on this thread or in private.

No, when it comes to trucking, I certainly don't have it all figured out but in this case one need not have many years working... either in Driving or Accounting.

We have a driver that has publicly stated on this public forum that he has a bad back due to having many discs removed. He is unloading frieght (all but 1 HP load he said i think) and needs to be careful so as not to hurt himself (again, his statement)... and then commented about Abilene being "no touch" and working for a no touch company is a high priority due to his bad back (again, his statements)...

    I simply told him, Friend to Friend and Driver to Driver to "stop touching the frieght".... that's all... then he went off the deep end... {shrug}

I dont wish to see any driver hurt himself here.

If that gets your panties bunched up, sorry.

Again, I am always open to @JohnBoy advise.

    Stay Safe,
    MD

    On a more fun topic...

Had a load coming back out today that no one seemed to know anything about... LOL

Went to shipper... no one knew about it there so they sent me to another of their locations... got loaded... rolled to scale... noticed QC was sending me to LL in Sandston... but BOL had a different address/town listed.

Called FM and Shipper and left messages and kept rolling as both addresses were in the same direction. Called Shipper back after a couple hours since I didn't hear back from him. They have no clue as the BOL comes from LL... ok, called FM again since I don't have a number for LL... he checked and no one there knew so just take it to Sandston and see what they say... OK

I get to Sandston, no clue there about it since it doesn't start with the right numbers for them... roll on to the other address...

Arrive... they don't take deliveries after 3:30pm (it's 6pm) ... sweet talked my way onto the yard to go to the office... they don't have it in their system at all but it IS a number they would normally use... ok, I don't need it unloaded as it's a drop trailer and not live unload...

Ok, just back it to a dock door and we will figure it out in the morning....

    DEAL!!!! ... LOL ... :D

If they would send me an Assigned Deadhead back to the yard, I would come over and join you. A drink sounds really good right now... since I probably won't be using the rest of my clock tonight and free until morning.

    So, enjoy one for me.
