Sitting in Wintersville, OH for 2.5 hours.
Waiting on someone to put me to work.
Sent two fun messages with no reply.

Sitting here with 1,700 miles since Monday.

And they tell me they would like to see my miles increase... LOL ... so glad I'm not trying to feed a family on this job.... LOL

Ah, that's it... they are giving all the miles first to those with mouths to feed... now I feel better... just doing my part to help other drivers in need!!!



Any takers that after four hours they will end up sending me on a simple Deadhead to Columbus??? Meanwhile I could have been there already... LOL

Currently sitting in the Flying J parking lot down the road from the Wytheville yard. I am pleased to report that their showers work, though understandably there is a wait.

I got in late last night, so my 10 isn't up until 11:35am. Once I can legally drive again, I'll be hauling Gatorade to Indy for the 2nd time this week. My QC messages inform me that it's a HOT LOAD OMG. But the load assignment says that it's not actually due until tomorrow at 2PM, and I'll be able to drop it tonight.

Maybe I'll wind up back at that Pilot I was in yesterday and the day before. It was kinda sketchy, but it's hard to go wrong with convenient Indian food nearby.

 

When I have done that loop they normally just deadheaded me to Wytheville.

 

I must look that up the next time I have down time in Indy during business hours...

Sounds good, will keep an eye out for you....like I have any clue who you are or what you look like, but that hasn't stopped me before. I have a knack for sleuthing out forum members.

I have figured out 5 regulars here I think it should be 6, but the sixth one is being cagey methinks.

 

You can "steal" miles/time but I wouldn't consider that the same thing.

 

Those showers were crap even when they did work. I always went to the fj anyway. They were working fine yesterday evening.

I have had DHs to Richmond and wytheville only. I hightailed it to that little hole in the wall place down the road from you.

I only have 7hrs left on my 70 so I may wind up doing a reset here parked right in front of the "1hr limit" sign.

 

They are hopefully remodeling those crap Wilco showers at that Pilot. They are awful.
