Well, that is an interesting story and part of everything that happened this month too...

Well it was up in the air for a bit if we were going to be looking for another house in that very same area or moving back into our place there... turns out we are actually moving back into the house we moved out of 18 months ago.

We are still looking for a way to make it up to Mrs. JohnBoy... :(

One night on a snow packed highway with a serious crosswind blowing I was praying to get another couple of miles to the next exit when I saw what I thought was a car with a light out coming up fast, I was thinking, don't come up next to me in this wind.
In a little more than a blink of an eye, he pulled even, it was a motor cop with a side car! He blew on by, took the uphill curved exit without slowing down and motored on down the road.

Man, I completely forgot how to truck tonight. Took me over an hour to get parked at this Flying J off Exit 77 near Wytheville, and it wasn't for lack of parking spaces. I tried four different spots, and just couldn't get my fecal matter together. Last spot some guy took pity on me and helped me in. Good thing, too, I was about to say "screw it" and head back to the yard.

Hey, I hear the NE is getting that bad storm now... if you are driving in that area, please stay safe, and warm too.

For me, looks like ND will only be -15 tomorrow night... MINUS FIFTEEN!!! ... LOL

Guess I will get my "Below Zero - Winter Camp Badge" during this trip... (that is if camping out in a nice warm truck counts as camping...LOL)

    Stay Safe,
    MD
