Sometimes it's the simplest of things that create the most time wasted. Geesh.

I don't notice a difference in loads on weekends vs weekdays.

Sounds good to me, as long as somebody else is paying for it. ;)

I was looking over the route I will be taking to Portland earlier, and it seems that I will be going over Cabbage for the first time, either tomorrow or the day after.

Unfortunately, it will be dark no matter when I go down it, so the impact will be somewhat less.

Sitting here at yard. Hp not ready yet. Last week turned out better than i thought. 2400 miles sunday to friday with 2 trips to manhattan.

Thursday maryland mustve been in crackdown mode. The nb scale near delaware was open and stayed open as traffic backed up down the hill before u even got to the tolls. They also had some troopers stopping trucks that went by.

And in other news wife has turned in her 2 week notice and will be going to cdl school and joining me later on this summer. This has been planned for awhile and is the next step in reaching our redefined goals for life.

    Safe travels everybody

Stop at the scale/brake check area at the top. Read the big posted info sign. If loaded heavy deduct 10mph off the posted speed. At the bottom of Cabbage is the Arrowhead casino truckstop, exit 216. Stop there, regroup and look over the mountain behind you. Then say to yourself, thank god it wasn't snow covered and icy. I'll be going over it Thursday, after I get a few drops off.

Only been down that one once. Did it at around 0300. Nice easy ride on dry pavement.

That scale was open a day after that big snow dump a week or so ago. Hope they don't get too comfy hanging out there.
