Perfect example that I can use as to why you never have your trailer tandem stretched out, BH in Groveport. Their dumb policy of sliding your wheels back at the gate, then spotting the trailer in one of the tight slots makes for a very hard back. Before they instituted that policy backing was a breeze. Now it's everything I can do not to hit something with my right front corner of my truck or the left rear corner of my trailer. And what makes it even harder? It's at the end of a trip, usually about 2 in the morning.

Ahh nothing like a tight back in long Island ny off a busy street into a garage with inches of clearance on both sides to get the blood flowing in the morning.

All I can add to the backing discussion is this, practice makes perfect, and never get in a hurry or rush it.

Backing is one of my strong points. Finding a reason to like this job after all these years is my weak point.
