Been there, done that ... would love to do it again! Alaska is beautiful, and nothing beats seeing it on cruise ship. The day we parked in Glacier Bay was awesome.

Well, because I read my load assignment wrong, guess who gets the overnight shift tonight? When we swapped yesterday I thought it said Monday the 18th@ 0700. The 18th was right, except it's Sunday. Urghhh......

 

There are always a lot of tractors on the yard during the weekend.

 

Hmmmm ... how should I take that? LOL

40 in AZ gets pretty nasty too around flagstaff. There is usually a way around the ruts but you have to be willing to jump in and out of lanes frequently.

 

Anyone ever taken 895 Pocohantas Pkwy from 95 to 64 near the yard?. Rand never routes me over it so I'm wondering if it's truck restricted.

Walter routes me over it every once in a while. Going from the yard to Williamsburg, for example. It's fine. Not restricted. Going up that on-ramp is like climbing a lift hill on a rollercoaster, though.
