I've been loaded quicker than that a few times. On one occasion they started loading the trailer before I even got out of the cab to go inside the office to check in. That was a small 2 dock Bay and I was the only truck they expected...and I got there 20 minutes after they were supposed to close. I'm sure that had a lot to do with their expediency.

That moment when your truck informs you that you need to perform a parked regen, but the truck won't actually let you do it because the check engine light is on...

I've cleared that light a few times with the keyswitch reset but I imagine if it's preventing a manual regen the key reset isn't gonna help here.

Wow, really? The Love Shack has better prices and a more interesting selection.

But perhaps I've said too much.

Havnt vanaished, just not many details worth posting lately....

Only took 9 driving hours to make it to just east of nyc on long island today in valley stream ny from the yard. And only 2.5 hours from staten island. 2nd trip here this week. Instead of spending all my time on the interstate parking lots, took surface street parking lots (atlantic and conduit).

Last couple weeks have been productive but tiring and not easy. Not due to going anywhere difficult, but more so because this truck in the northeast cant accomplish what some think it can.

Also ac was kinda going in and out. So left it off except when sleeping and had cool air then. Thankfully garage fixed it 1st try.

The issue with my truck demanding a parked regen that it refused to actually perform did not clear up. So my truck is currently in the tender care of Central Illinois Trucks.

All I really wanted them to do was to clear the check engine light so I could do a parked regen and get on down the road. They, of course, had other more expensive ideas.

I rolled in to their shop around 5:00pm local time yesterday. They tell me that they need a part they don't have in stock. Absolute earliest that part will get here is 10:00am local today, but possibly not until 3:00pm. So I enjoyed a night's stay in the Quality Inn in Rockford.

Meanwhile, I sure hope they were able to find someone to make the two pick-up appointments I had in Wisconsin today. I called dispatch last night as soon as I had a firm ETA and knew I couldn't make those appointments on time, and followed that up with a qualcomm message. I've done my due diligence; the rest is up to them.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
