The moose was Bullwinkle. The squirrel’s name was Rocky. Then there was their nemeses, Boris Badenov and Natasha.

“Vee vill geet moose and skverl today”. :laughing-guffaw:

I used to hate sleeping late on Saturdays because I stayed up late Friday playing video games.

This wasn't a worry for me, because when I was a kid, if you wanted to play a video game, you had to go somewhere and stick a quarter in something.

One of my all-time favorite movies is the Vietnam war pic The Boys in Company C. I saw it for the first time when I was a teenager, and one of the guys looked REALLY familiar. Drove me nuts trying to figure out who it was. He was this short kid from Brooklyn, typical New Yorker as presented by Hollywood, all tough and sarcastic, but with a heart of gold underneath.

Many years later I figured it out. It was Kaptain Kool himself, the guy front and center in the picture. Real name: Michael Lembeck. I'd grown up watching him on a kid's show in the '70s, and there he was in this no-holds-barred Vietnam war drama (which was filmed right around the same time as when he was on the kid's show, I just didn't see it until about 10 years later).

I got one for Christmas when they came out. I think I still have it stored somewhere. Think I still have a bunch of games.
