We dont even have OD available on our Peoplenet system....yet. Im pushing for it but some of our drivers are having a hard enough time adjusting to using a computer that it is not going to be easy. They are already logging off the system to make deliveries and one of our dispatchers was telling them to do it. So now he and a bunch of drivers are on 60 day probations.

Hopefully they don’t try and turn around and call it YOUR poor planning.

Yes. They do. Or at least that is what they said to me. "If you have to use anything but your legal drive time, you should have planned your trip better." Exact words from someone who has never been in a truck. Not even kidding.

The planners have the same type of reverence for their computers and what they say can be done as do some drivers who treat their GPS as a bible.

What’s the office equivalent of the moron who drives a truck across pedestrian bridges in Milwaukee? :biggrin_25523:

Haven't been there but have you sent a Customer Info Request macro? Sometimes they have half-decent/legal directions listed. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I tried but no response.. Called in to shipper and the person I spoke with has no clue. I checked my map and tried to google and get a picture view; but being NY you know how tricky it is.
