Ahhh, ok. Im still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Not sure if this is related, but I got a call today saying that detention I put in for wouldn't be paid because it was within a 10hr break. That hasnt been an issue before so Im wondering if this is a new policy enacted by the owners or just enforcing an existing policy.

I did ask if the detention would have been paid if i went on duty after loading and started a new 10hr break and the answer was yes. Not sure if I buy that because one thing is for certain, there is no definitive detention policy...none that I find anyway. BTW "it depends" isnt definitive in the least.

Oh and I didnt get breakdown pay for the 2 days I spent waiting for the shop to not fix the truck. I can't say I expected to get it , but some claimed they have so I guess "it depends".

 

Really like our customer pickup in Compton,fast loading,only downside is the traffic.

I was there yesterday. The downside is the other end. The only time I delivered in NC was a 2 day ordeal. Needless to say, my Compton loads now end in WM.
