Um, not on your life!!! I get sick of my own company. Can't imagine that I would like the company of someone else 24/7. Not even my old man!!! LOL

You ended up taking the same trailer to "MD"?

 

Things like this occasionally happen. We had a team about 4 years ago hook to a trailer in San Bernardino, get checked out by the guard at the gate with the high value load, drive all the way to Chicago for delivery, had the bills in hand, trailer sealed, cut the seal at delivery, open doors and it was empty. Not only did they climb Cajon pass at 55mph, but they pulled an Interstate Transport trailer the whole way. Drivers were from mars, guards were from mars, and then they had to drive all the way back to San Bernardino empty.

 

So here's the laugh of the day. I've had this KW for about a month or so now. The bestpass has never worked. No lights at all and I started thinking....."does that thing take batteries?". Yes, yes it does, so if yours stops working, replace the batteries.

Got up at 130am this morning. Walked in, took a shower, and by the time I got back to the truck I was already sweating again. Summer heat and my size doesn't match up too good.

Got here to the drop, and I use "drop" loosely at Volvo in Elkridge. Called up Richmond and was told...nope, they can't give me a deadhead move or another dispatch. So there goes 3 hours on my 14 wasted. Oh well, at least now I know if I come in here after hours, to make sure I have a move or reload first.

 

As if I needed another nail in the coffin containing my faith in humanity.
