I just got done with a driver last week that was in the same identical position as you. He went with me for 10 days then we cut him loose. I’m thinking that will be the worst case scenario for you.

You get whatever is available. I prefer the Volvo, but to each their own.

Usually Kenworth T680, Freightliner Cascadias or Volvo 760s. Or if you opt for Northeast regional there will most likely be a Mack in your future.

I like KW the best of the trucks Ive driven.

As long as it goes from point A to point B, a box truck would work.

I've been in two trucks at Abilene: A 2015 Volvo and a 2016 Volvo.

I quite like the Volvo and would be happy to stay in them throughout my career here at Abilene.

All our trucks are automatic, btw. Volvos have a manual mode, and the Freightliners do as well. But I think the manual mode has been disabled in the KWs.
