Bh in ocala is a good one 0500 appt out at 0630 witha truck in front of me,would visit again.

 

I did an experiment today. Went off duty at the drop zone at Gatorade. Drive around back at 15mph to yard slot 183. It kicked me back driving and added the previous 6mins of off duty I had, when i was at the guard shack.

 

How is that new Volvo on fuel? Are you having to fuel much faster than the KW?

 

Yes. Only 100 gallon on both sides. All I've been on is Gatorade. Avg mpg over last 2100 miles is 6.7

 

I spoke with another Abilene driver with a new Volvo and he mention that with his old KW he would run 10 hours not having to refuel (Pulling also Gatorade,and other loads.) Now he's just stopping more times. I wonder if maybe more driver's are running into the same experience?

 

A definite possibility. I usually fuel every time I hit 1/4 tank. Plus been idle lately with the warmer weather. Still love the truck though. I'll be bringing my father with me in a couple of weeks.

 

Ran this one into the red, past the fuel light. Still only took 150 gallons.

Very cramped with two people, lucky we are small.

 

That's great! Having your father with you. Tell dispatch to give you a long run,. California so he can get to see different cenario's of every state.

 

That other driver mention that the fridge was very small. It's that right?

 

Small tanks, Small fridge... ugh ... Here I was staring to enjoy the thought of returning to OTR at some point...
