On more than one occasion I've told CHR they have 1 hour to get any "mix-ups" straight before I call dispatch for another load. In many cases they did and I rolled. In some they didn't and I called dispatch. The last time I dealt with them I gave them 30 minutes. I thought for sure I'd not hear from them that soon. Low and behold at 28 minutes they called me with the correct info. I was nothing less than shocked!! LOL

CHR experiences will vary significantly depending on the office you’re dealing with, too

Hauling CHR now. Called them up, and was told this is a TMC load, a division of CHR. Called TMC, no answer, over and over. Got them on the phone finally and was handed off three times, to finally be told it was a CHR load, not TMC. I told the lady this was not acceptable, and she started giving me numbers right away. One of those numbers worked, and we were able to get loaded.

Its not a bad load, only 17,000 lb, 2500 miles. Loaded in about an hour once we got the number they wanted.

    Well Abilene cancel the deal!
Apparently it was another episode of CHR not being clear!
There was no load ready to be picked up! And the shipper was very upset with them trying to push for something that's not there.
This soap opera is over for me today!

I don’t seem to have any problems with them.
We use them some but not a whole lot.

Does anyone know if they finish making the repairs of the train tracks next to the West Memphis Abilene terminal? I will probably be heading there some time today.

Hey buddy. That load deliver in PA on Monday? If so, it might be better to keep it. I had 2 going to PA that I dropped in OH so I didn't have to babysit them. Both times I'd have been better off delivering. Getting loaded out of Springfield on or close to the weekend is at best a roll of the dice. At least, it was for me..
