    So I guess this Truck n Driver are finally up and running... got my first 11/14 violation tonight.

    {shrug}

    Not sure I’m liking this new(er) QC
    It doesn’t seem to work the same way as the one in my 15xx Volvo. Two nights in a row I leave a place thinking I have hh:mm left on my clocks only to have them change after I’m rolling.

    Tonight I had like 16 minutes left and was going to the Pilot for the night... after leaving POOF... violation... I’m not worried about the actual violation BUT had it told me the correct amount of time I had left I could have easily used PC to move the 8 minutes to the pilot.

    But hey... at least I’m finally about to put in full days with what is now going to be an awesome Truck... so I really shouldn’t complain.

    Stay Safe and I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

    I have a similar issue year-round. The magnet in my DEF nozzle never trips the latch on the dispenser at Love's but has no problem anywhere else.

    Best habit you can have with the new IVC units is always change your status before you intend to actually be in Driving. The way it reads the wheel sensors will count stuff like puttering around a truckstop or yard as drivetime once you get the speed up to the trip point (approx. 23 mph). You can force it to restart its counting point by switching to any other status before you take off.

    Took about two days before I figured that out after it updated to start doing that and I lost a good chunk of my 70 getting used to how it acts now.

    @Barn Door Bill ... AH, that’s what’s different... I’ve been stopping, take it out of drive, setting my air brakes, and setting there for a minute or two doing paperwork etc... then rolling thinking that I had reset whatever sensors needed to be reset.... which obviously doesn’t work... lol

    Still on the learning curve... Thanks Buddy!!!

    Discussing drivers making off color anatomical jokes . I read all the top threads even without comment , I’ve read this entire thread from page one on , it’s a great story . Keep in mind this is a public accessible forum and you represent professional drivers and Abilene. I don’t speak for anyone but I can infer JB wouldn’t approve although he says nothing. Bear in mind there are non CDL Executives who read company specific content on here , daily , as well as women who may not speak up but are not impressed . Thank you

    Just WOW! If you were a mod, I might be impressed. But, nah. If you can’t handle a little wee-wee in the zipper talk, you’re in the wrong business- and in the wrong thread. I’m sure I can speak for the majority of guys on this thread as well.

    Not a problem. It's also worth noting that it logs in a minimum of five minute chunks. I should have mentioned that earlier. I don't recall if the older units did that as well so you probably already knew that.

    Then don’t read it if you don’t like it. I’ll keep that in mind around you now.
