I hate Wyoming. They need to give it back to the Indians.

Two years back, I checked into what was the O/O Program... being a newbie, I didn’t wish to venture too deep into Locked In Programs... and didn’t have the industry experience to even seriously consider it...

If I failed as a Driver, I just wanted to be able to run home with my tail tucked, crying to mommy, and licking my wounds... but without anyone tracking me down for a Truck Payment... LOL

but I remember then it didn’t seem like a great option... sure, one can make more money, possibly... but also bigger risk of failure and potential financial liabilities...

    But always looking at Options.

With me being a short timer, retirement on my horizon, finances secure and in place, the last thing I want, (and never considered) was being in a position to rent someone’s truck who controls what freight goes in their trailer. Don’t need the extra money, headaches or anything associated with it. Now, if I was 30 years younger, not in the position I am, and had nothing but youth on my side, then maybe I would. Let me rephrase that, then definitely not. Don’t need it, don’t want it, and have nothing to prove saying I’m a lease operator.

Me to. In some company's they would give drivers an orientation for becoming a O/O ... Or leasing before getting into it. It's a big responsibility and you have to be a very good manager.... It's just my opinion.

    Speaking of yesterday.
Coming out of San Antonio, Tx at around 8:30 AM down the road one truck had his trailer completely burning down in the hwy.... 5 hours later or so I'm in Louisiana I-10 East in that portion of the hwy bridge we're trucks must do 55 mph and stick to the right. Well 3 truck drivers decided to do the opposite and got into an accident... One crushed the other from behind and one of them the first truck decided to split!
