I have yet to have a Coyote Load go smoothly.

This time they had me set my reefer at -10 continuous ... ok, no problem... I drive in that latest winter storm in Northern Illinois and that front followed me all the way to NC.

I get here, Walmart DC informs me they can’t open the roll door... told me to do it... (well, if you can’t open it from the dock, just what am I to do about it from the ground?)

So, I confirm, from the ground, yup, ‘Tis Stuck!
    I assume it’s frozen tight from -10 & rain.

They kick me off the premises and told me to reschedule... so I send in a QC to be routed to RVA and they can deliver it ... come Spring.

I’ll save you the back and forth between me, RVA, and Coyote... but it was interesting.

    Ended with “Call Breakdown”... LOL

Ok... sure thing... they can do what? Take a torch to it? Is frozen door even covered? Well, I don’t care, I’m soon on my 10 so maybe it will melt open come Morning... lol

Then DM calls for a status check... I sent updates via the “Preferred Company Communication Tool” (aka QC).... what? Someone must had cleared them.

Ok, and? ... Wait for a minute... ok boss

Ding ding goes the QC... head to RVA....

    ok, thanks.

Place I'm at doesn't have a fence around the provisioner. You may be thinking of Longwood.

I parked on the street and blindsided in. Two guys that worked there helped me. Unloaded in 20mins.

The annoying thing is that the little area way in the back looks like it's JUST big enough to turn around.

But, as I found out the hard way, it isn't.

Just found out that Bill is gone. Apparently it was pretty sudden, as someone said they just found out about it when they walked in this morning.

Nobody is talking (not talking to me, at any rate) about what happened or why, but the way they're not talking about it suggests that maybe it wasn't Bill's idea. Lots of hands held apart and "He's no longer with the company" responses.

Kinda shocked to be honest. Bill was a good dude.

Making a delivery today at "Mason City, NE" temperature 0-1F.
I was less than an hour away from my delivery place when these 4 cars in front of me decided to have an accident between them. Good thing that I keep my distance! IMG_20190125_084252.jpg
