Unfortunately you're not the norm out here. Half the drivers can't even take care of themselves let it putting a dog in the truck with them. I mean he even said 3 or 4 hours later he cant get the wet dog smell from his truck. My truck is my 2nd home. I wouldn't let some stranger bring in is obviously filthy dog into my home, so why should I allow it in my truck? I love dogs, but I've been in drivers trucks that had a pet and lets just say it was disgusting. May seem harsh, but hey take care of yourself and your dog in case that situation happens where you need to bum a ride. Idk doesnt seem all that unreasonable to me

Ok, you caught me... it’s wasnt my “whole head”... just one half, the half with the good ear... my poor nose was pushed up against the slide window too.

    Ok... Richard ...

I had to modify on the fly as we have potential new drivers swing through here that may be easily offended... and it would be far from me to wish to cause them any amount of distress...

Oh, and Non CDL Company Executives as well.

And I’d let the dog in my truck before I’d let some of these drivers in my truck... lol

Besides, he said “wet dog smell”... that doesn’t really imply that the dog was dirty... could be just the normal smell of wet fur.

But to each their own, Richard.

On a different note, and this may be a first.

I’m sitting on the Yard... right next to the Shop... and they just told me to “Call Breakdown”.... LOL

Granted I have an issue with the lights on my trailer... and no trailer guys work nights... and the shop does not have the lights... but still...

I just had to chuckle... :)

Oh, and I had hours to run but now instead of going to bed and letting the trailer guys fix it in the morning, I’m waiting up for the Breakdown guy to get here which will be after midnight... lol

Stay Safe our there... it’s freaking COLD!!!
