Likewise. Except that my truck is still in the shop, so there will be some time spent trying to get a loaner.

Put in the ticket two weeks ago, on a Thursday. They didn't get it to the shop until the following Monday. So it's been there 10 days or so.

I figured 8 days off in a row would give them plenty of time to have it fixed, but nope.

Sometimes for this very reason the shop raises my blood pressure! And I don't suffer from high blood pressure. I hope that by some "miracle" they have it ready for you.

When I was OTR, I NEVER, EVER put my truck in the Richmond shop. Those guys mess around too much and (except for a couple) don’t know what the hell they’re doing.

Funny story... I got pulled out of line at a SC Scale... Level II inspection... Officer said there was a problem with one of my trailer tires (50% Flat) but since he could not get to the valve stem to verify, beyond tire thumping, he didn’t/couldn’t right me up... so he “advised me” to get it fixed ASAP... so since I was driving right passed RVA, I stopped for my 10 at the Yard and let them look at it this morning.

The very nice Trailer Shop Guy came right out to look at it... from a far he said “those are brand new tires... they should be fine”... I show him which one and yup... it wasn’t fully connected to the air system... he bent down and twisted the connector on and you could then here the air begin to flow.

I guess when they prep new tires they first fill them to 50psi and then once installed let the trailer top them off to 100psi... which didnt happen on this one tire... so yup, the nice Officer that didn’t write me up was 100% correct... it was 50% flat.

And yes, I did PreTrip the trailer... but my tire thumper was not nearly as accurate as his tire thumper... lol ... this does concern me... I might need to buy the Deluxe Tire Thumper... :-(

Well in this case, "the shop" is the Kenworth dealership around the corner. They've had it for 11 days or so.
