    Had a Piggly Wiggly in Louisiana that unloaded that way.

    But they sprang for wheels on the cases.

    After talking to the installers a bit, they said they used to come in on wheels but they would roll around on the flatbed too uncontrollably when moving the truck... and then were too tall to get into these stores... so they ended up having to remove them before putting them in place... so now they are requested to be shipped without wheels and they just drag and slide them around... {shrug}

    A heads up... It's about 11:00 A.M.
    If anyone is coming out of the West Memphis terminal going West today don't bother!
    There was a truck accident around mile marker 200 West I-40 and traffic is stop!
    It's about 20 miles long and still growing!

    MidWest_MacDaddy and Finfn1372 Thank this.

    I had to have things unloaded that way before, when the freight is too big for the liftgate.

    I left there 0330 this morning and was almost accident about 0400 going west close to little rock. UPS owner op was all over the road driving recklessly from one side to the other and almost took out a few cars and trucks including me. Pulled off an exit onto the shoulder eventually and there was a cop sitting right after that exit. Bet that why he pulled over. Probably would have slammed into that officer way he was driving. Don't know if he was drunk or falling asleep. Another driver called the police and maybe that was one of the cops looking for him. Hope a cop did check on him. I blew air horn at him when he almost hit me and he blew his back like I was wrong.....

    I understand you. Being there a couple of times with the same experience. There was one guy that when I blew the air horn he just rolled down his window and decided to show me his middle finger!
    Those are the ones that have the brain of a mosquito!

    I swear... literally... :mad:

    Driver arrives early for LLD and everything comes to a complete stop... why you ask... because we can’t provide the Driver with a NUMBER that allows the shipper to load his trailer...

    Unfreaking Believable ... and just sad

    TokyoJoe and Lonesome Thank this.

    Today's excitement involved having my Lumber Liquidator load unloaded today at 5:00pm when it's not actually due until tomorrow at 10:00am. Was able to get an early start on my Naples, FL --> Atlanta pre-load.

    5 hours wasted waiting to get my blown trailer tire replaced....prob won't get to Reno til Tuesday because of it. Had just enough time to get there for Monday drop.....would have got into Love's right away had stupid breakdown called them first instead of going through shop connect. Only one night mechanic was starting a road call when I got there....The ineptitude of some ppl at Abilene/Knight is irritating me right now.....
