There, I fixed it for you....
So we’ve basically become an ”expendable” cog in a mega carrier wheel.

Dropped load this morning and all they had were empty reefers at saddle creek in groveport. I probably should have asked before hooking but figured they can load a reefer with a dry load. Probably going to have to drop at BH and get a van from gatorade since my load to WA is going to be brokered from XPO.

Yeah I think I'd draw the line at my company requiring me to drive further with known DOT violations on their equipment.

If they expect you to do that then they'll not give a #### if you get something with no brakes either.

Lmao! Probably all the above and then some. I hung up after I heard, " Well I guess you are 18 or older because you have found, the sex line." Weekend dispatch messed up area code, proper number started with 855 not 800. Im getting used to messed up load info.

Had me drop the reefer at newcastle bh cuz my load picks up in IN. Wish they would pave the empty lot, hate mud all over my tires. Sent me to quaker off orly to get a dry van and went through four before I found one decent without flat tires or ripped mudflaps barely hanging on.

All caught up from this weeks posts... lol

so... this is new... at least to me...

Was given a load going to San Antonio TX for 10:30am unload on Monday... I needed to get in a 34 so I could either run it down on Saturday or Sunday... it’s a tight one day drive but doable... for some reason my DM called me to go over the plans, that’s a first... he was telling me to stop short a couple hours and finish the drive on Monday morning... (me with puzzled look on my face)... you want me to stop short and then start my clocks before the LUL??? but I can make it there and take my 34 ... it might be tight but doable... no, just shut down around Austin and take your 34 there... trust me there’s not many options in those last two hours... ok, can do... I guess... I’ll stop short and start my clocks early on Monday before the LUL... ok, great... (me still with a puzzled look on my face I’m sure)

I grab the load this morning ... it’s a few coolers... BOL says 8am LUL... not 10:30am

so I call Weekend Dispatch... TO says this, BOL says that... Blah blah blah... “oh ya, there’s like 6-7 trucks going there so they have you staggered out so you don’t all show up at once”

oh good grief... I’m not opposed to having us dribble in vs all of us sitting around waiting to get unloaded, but why not just tell me that instead of telling me to stop short and start my clocks two hours before the LUL and let me wonder WTF... lol

so I’m stopped short by two hours and starting my 34... parked in a nice Rest Area... and will start my clocks before getting on site on Monday...

I don’t understand the communication... lol

curious to see if this works better
