Picking up a volvo load going to Jacksonville.

 

Stopped at WM for my 10 and to get something simple fixed on my trailer and that simple turned into more needing done when the mechanic said the brakes were cammed over. On another load going to Houston Tx now. Rather go there than east coast anyway. I feel kind of dumb not catching that during my inspections.....

While I won’t speak for JB, I’ll say that this thread has never been “exclusively current drivers only”... might be non drivers, future drivers, former drivers, drivers that would never drive for Abilene folks... and even some jerk that has a hard on for JB... so ya, you better #### well feel welcome to drop in here any #### time you feel like saying hello or laughing at why the rest of us never wised up... lol

Taken off the Jacksonville,and put on a Romeoville that I delivered tonight,now on my way down to Plainfield to pu going to Amazon in Petersburg.

 

Almost got rear ended by a UPS pulling doubles because he wasn't paying attention to the traffic light ahead I was stopped at. Guess he missed the flashing warning sign.... I braced for impact but he got stopped. The limit was 40mph and when light turned green he took off around me at about 60mph. Crazy ppl in those brown uniforms......

 

As bad as they are,they dont have anything on those guy's in white.

 

Well now, did everyone receive the email today about the employee stock purchase? Would like to hear your thoughts about it, because I very quickly made my decision.

 

Nope.

Oops. Spoke too quickly. Guess I should’ve checked my email first. I know zero about that type of thing, so I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not. Guess that’s why I am going to be working until the day I die.

 

I know quite a bit about it. I will not be investing any of my money in ANY trucking companies stock. With trucking in the tank, that is a bad investment, especially for a stock that started last year at $33 per share, topped out at $37 and is tanking now like everything else.

With the way company values are declining, and the volatility of the market, it makes me wonder if KNX (Knights Wall Street Symbol) needs a cash infusion.
