So FDOT paperwork has been provided...
... my hind quarters are now covered ...
But I’ll run out of hours before getting back.

one would think they would let us know this $#|+ before we move their product... maybe I missed orientation... LOL

Today has been my day for the computer in my truck deciding that my truck is in CRITICAL DANGER OF BEING DAMAGED IF YOU KEEP DRIVING IT OMG.

    :biggrin_1square3::biggrin_1square3::biggrin_1square5::biggrin_1square5::biggrin_2555: <-- My truck's computer this morning.

First time was going up and down US-40 in SW Pennsylvania. Transmission fluid shifted the wrong way and convinced the little sensor module that I was in DEADLY DANGER OF SHREDDING MY TRANSMISSION. So it told me I had to stop. Or else. And to make sure I didn't ignore it, it stopped upshifting. Which is all kinds of fun when you're going through mountains in SW Pennsylvania. On a 2-lane undivided highway. With no shoulder.

Finally managed to pull over into a reasonably flat patch of grass and turned off the ignition to let the truck think about what it had done. Turned it back on 15 seconds later and everything was fine.

Second time was on I-68, when my computer informed me that I was CRITICALLY LOW ON COOLANT OMG YOU'RE GONNA OVERHEAT THE ENGINE YOU FOOL. I find this one particularly annoying because I have plenty of coolant in the reservoir. But going up and down twisty mountain roads sloshes the coolant around and will periodically uncover the little sensor.

Sometimes the warning will go away on its own if I can get on level ground for a bit. But if I can't, then I get the "WE ARE TURNING THIS TRUCK OFF IN T-MINUS 60 SECONDS BIG BOY BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO STUPID TO KNOW ANY BETTER!" warning and then I gotta pull over somewhere and turn the key off and top off the coolant to make it happy so I don't have to go through this rigamarole every time I take a curve at the bottom of a hill. Which happens a lot in this part of the world.

Also, I need to just avoid US-40 in PA entirely in the future. I've been on it a few times, about once or maybe twice a year I go over it, and it always adds like a full hour of drive time to my ETA from all those long stretches of crawling up a steep incline at 17MPH.

Oh... on a lighter note... over heard two local drivers talking... I guess one of us Abilene guys were caught backing into a known very difficult store... they were impressed that said driver was even willing to attempt that drop in a sleeper.

Way To Go Random Abilene Driver!!!

Just thinking about most of these Publix stores while delivering coolers is enough for me to vehemently say no to this deal. After all these years of going forward and backward, I sure as hell don’t need practice, 2 or 3 times a day.

    Well, that’s a first...

Driving through town and a guy comes up along side of my Truck waving... I slow and roll down my window expecting something wrong with my Trailer... nope...

“Hey, did you just deliver chicken to Publix?”

    “Sorry, I don’t have a clue.”

... frustrated he drove away ...

I am guessing he ran a chicken place...
... or just really needs his chicken fix...

    :D

Yes interstates as well, your truck and tires needs to be rated for that.
Every truck I’ve driven gas been rated for 40k thou

Does anyone remember the Carol Burnett show?
Here is an episode about toilet paper that she made many years ago.
