Nope. Sorry, that’s a service failure.

New rules from the new parent company. Bad dispatching and acts of God are now the driver’s fault.

That would run directly into my habit of taking screenshots of Edna with my phone. ;)

We all have our preferences and sometimes our bodies just don’t do what we want it to do.

If rested I can drive well into the night, I can wake up early and drive, (although I’m not a morning person) and I have been known to drive vampire for a few nights in a row until the grumpy starts seeping out my pores.... (Lots of benefits you running nights, just can’t do it very long) ...

... but the worst, absolutely WORST thing, (in my never be humble opinion) is to screw around wide awake waiting until midnight to START my freaking day.

I’ll give them 11/14 every day they ask for it, but it’s gotta be when I can do so safely...

And don’t worry about being a “True Trucker”, that went out the window when we climb into these nice shiny new trucks with Automated Manual Transmissions... :D

You know, a funny thing... before I was sold a CPAP to use... I could lay down and sleep really well... any time of the day... and wake up refreshed and ready... now that I’ve been “treated” (and lost 50#)... I sleep pretty good but can’t nap worth a darn... lol

So I’m actually less flexible with my availability now.

    rachi Thanks this.

Starbucks, NV... first here; last loaded
    Gotta do them in plan order ... {shrug}

oh well, I only had 6 hours available... I was due for a 34 anyway... a partial 34 will at least push some recap hours into tomorrow.

Heading to PA so that will consume a few days.

    4mer trucker Thanks this.

Sitting here in Burbank, OH with 21 minutes left on my 70. 2:15 away from the receiver that I was supposed to be at this morning at 8:00am.

Never heard back from anybody at HQ regarding rescuing this load or changing the appointment time or anything.

So the message I have received from HQ about this load is "We don't give a **** about that load."

Copy, loud and clear. Message received, over and out.

Get back 9hrs tonight, so load will make it there tomorrow around 24 hours late. After I get a good night's sleep.

You should go and get retested. You may not need that machine now.
