I was in Canada delivering and they took no contact to a new level. They had a scanner set up by the receiving window. You scan your BOLs and they print them off on their side. When done, they scan the signed BOLs and you print them off on your side.

 

Saw this nailed on the wall next to the window that use to be outbound dispatch. Pretty cool, lean your forehead near it and it takes your temperature. The only problem? It kept reading my temp at 97.2. Put this right up there with the lack of social distancing being done.

 

Sounds like the beginning of a Dr. Seuss Book.

I think taking skin temp is a joke. It can vary quite a bit from internal temp.

We are about an hour from Amarillo, supposed to swap with another driver there and head back to S. Cal.

 

The most accurate way to get a correct temperature reading is rectally. That ain’t happening.

 

Everybody tickled pink about the bonus raise? Perfect way for the company to look good on paper and save money at the same time.
