hmm.....could be. I did recover the trailer, 2 blown right side tires, 2 bent ruined aluminum wheels on same side, dead battery, was run out of fuel, and the inside smells like a South Georgia paper mill. Other than all that it looks pretty good. I just got done getting the tires and wheels replaced, now I'm waiting in line at this Blue Beacon to get it washed out. I have to load tomorrow in Port Wentworth Ga to load for a Saturday morning delivery in Salem Va, then deadhead over to Richmond to pick up my trainee.

Nope. He did what he had to do. Again, the only thing that I got against Scott was the NOT REHIRABLE on my DAC. Thats all, John. I won't let that go.

Don't let that worry you, George. Most companies like to do that. At least I've had a few drivers tell me that and also that it didn't make a difference when they went to get hired somewhere else.

It's sad when someone leaves a trailer like that for whatever reason

Hoping to be back to work soon. My mother is doing much better, although she did catch me unawares with a comment she made yesterday. Seems she didn't know that she had surgery. She was thinking that when the chest tube was put in in the ER, that was all that was done. Now, I know she was on some pretty powerful pain meds, so I can sort of see that, but she's still a little lost with things. Actually, it's a bit frightening to see her struggle with everyday things. I'm sure she'll get better with time. What happened was a major deal, even though she tried to downplay it, and every Dr has told her so. Again, freaking me out.

All thru this ordeal, I've been in contact with my FM, trying to get my fridge cleaned out (still don't know if that happened) and the truck either fixed in ATL or brought back to Richmond. It appears that there is absolutely no one available to do that. I've even been in touch with Scott and now he's working on it as well. Injector issues don't get fixed in a day. It did feel good to describe what the truck was doing and be validated with the same diagnosis from Scott. So, I'm waiting for them to decide how to proceed. I might just be hopping a ride with someone and bringing it back myself. They are also going to run me so I can be home more for the time being since my mother has a zillion Dr appts coming in the next couple months. I'm so grateful for that.

Thanks Rebelchick. I guess the fact that three companies were still willing to take me out of the ten applications I put in bears that out. But nice and Scott J don't belong in the same sentence. Sorry, Mommy6. Just calling it as I see it. Will NEVER work for him again.

Well it kinda goes hand n hand. If you're are fired you are obviously not eligible for rehire. Some time down the road they may review it and change but as of now they are reporting accurately.

The no rehire part isn't really holding you back. It's the termination and incidents. Once you establish yourself with a little tenure at a company, most places will overlook the termination for your current job stability. And those incidents won't be relevant just about anywhere after 3-5 years.

Just wanted to say thanks for all your help John even though it's not going to work for him to go to Abilene at this time. Who knows what may happen in the coming months so we will stay updated on your posts.

Made it home just as the lady in the box let me know I had 1 hour left. Was supposed to be home til Monday but the only thing Don had was a HP down at Col Hgts that was just finished loaded. Needs to be up by Boston by 0800 Mon. I take that over not making my Dr appts.
