Guess it’s time to shut my phone off during my 14.

 

Don’t know about “mumbles” but I do know about not having a clue about being a DM.

 

Can’t wait to get the courtesy phone call from number 15 introducing themself to me as my new DM. I have this down to a science. First thing I say will be first name only, in my 8 years and now my 15th DM, it’s going to take a while for both of us to get on the same page, unfortunately, based on my experience, this won’t last for you, and that my friend, is why I don’t enter names of individuals into my contacts. I write names in a notebook, in pencil.

 

Anyone else using the new Abilene App that’s replacing the QC? I’ve had it for a week, gone through issues, walked through set up and proper usage, and now my previous DM that had all the answers about it is history.

 

I use to keep it on,until a couple years ago,I was repowering a 'hot' load,and Cole called me in the middle of the night a couple hours before my break was up.

Since than it goes to silent mode,if it's important,they can get me between the hashes.

 

And I thought our place was bad. In almost 9 years, I've had 10 shipping dept. managers, and 5 shipping leads. Each one comes in full of p1ss and vinegar, going to make meaningful change, etc. Until they run into the brick wall called upper management.....

 

Exactly. Everytime a new one shows up in my life I take a deep yawn, listen to how they’re going to reinvent the wheel, and just sit back and watch the antics.

 

There’s an app now? They going to pay our cell phone bill?

 

Hope they're planning on buying me a smartphone if they want me to run an app.

I got an old fashioned flip phone. It don't run apps. Works like a champ for taking phone calls though, which is all I really want my phone to do.
