I came back to work Friday to a choice of some hole in the wall MS (family $) load or Little Rock AFB. Both for Monday delivery. I could’ve come back Saturday for those choices. But did get some interesting information and hope it will pan out.

Unless you need a good pick up number trying to get checked in and you call the mothership and no one answers the phone because they’re all either smoking or playing fantasy football.

They're watching the game on the big TV. That normally shows the national weather radar. LOL

You know, sometimes you’re the windshield and sometimes you’re the bug. Today, at a back I have done before-a little tight, but doable-I was having a bit of an issue. More crap in the way. You know, typical Hill load. Anyway, another Abilene driver comes up and starts telling me how to do it (which got me even more screwed up) and got upset that I wasn’t listening to him. Asked me if I just wanted him to do it for me because it was going to take me all day to get in the hole and the guys were waiting on me. I’m, not only no, but #### no! I am a driver and will figure it out on my own. WTH!!!!! I have asked other drivers if they wanted my assistance, helped them in whatever way they have asked (or not if they didn’t want my help), but I have never, EVER said let me just do it because it’s going to take you too long to anyone. Oh, and BTW, next move I was where I needed so be-a little crooked, but there. Ok, small rant over.

Got a pick up in Lithia Springs, GA. Appointment was at 2:00pm. Arrived on time. Hoping they would get me out of here quick so I could be through Atlanta and out the other side before rush hour.

No luck. Close on to 5:00pm, I've already racked up one hour of detention, and they haven't even started loading me yet.

On the bright side, maybe rush hour will be over by the time they finish.
