My 550 will drop pairing and then not re pair until I shut down my iphone and restart it. Not pleased. I am just not sure if it is the phone or the headset.

Just parked at Jubitz to start my reset. Since coming off my last reset this past Monday morning, I’ve run 3997 miles. I’ll leave out at 3am Monday and drive the 24 miles to my first drop, then the 145 miles to the final. I’ll be done by 9am with both drops. Time to relax for a little bit.

Been there a time or three but not in a very very long time. Thanks for the memory.

The prices in the restaurant are off the charts, but the whole place is nice to spend a reset at. I’ve been coming here for years.

I only been there once, and I took a 34 there. Really liked the salmon croquettes for breakfast.

Put in a shop ticket for preventive maintenance last week.

For you non-Abilene drivers reading the thread, the way we do things now is that the shop keeps track of our mileage, and when we're due for a PM, the shop sends an email to our driver manager letting them know who needs a PM. The driver manager schedules the PM and we put the ticket in for that particular appointment time.

I got a call last week from my DM. Said I was due for a PM. I happened to be on the way back to the yard to take hometime for the weekend, and actually got back a day early. I was out of the truck by Wednesday night. Put in a shop ticket with the "PM NEEDED. 7:00am Friday." appointment time on it.

Today, hometime is over! Time to get back in the truck. But as I have learned, it's always a good idea to call the shop first before I actually make the 25-minute drive out there.

Sure enough, truck wasn't ready. They were putting it in the shop when I called circa 9:30am.

I’m sure in theory it will work, in the real world? Nope.

Got my 2 drops off as scheduled. Left out at 0 dark 30. As I was bumping the dock at my last drop my reload came across the QC. Live load a load of onions in Prosser Washington going down to a Walmart DC in Clarksville Arkansas for Friday at 4am. Getting loaded as I type this. I have just enough time to get my tired ### to the Arrowhead in Pendleton.

Sounds like you guys are using Penske! They will set up the appointment, hound you if you miss the appointment, but 90% of the time, drop it off when requested, with a stated pick up time, and when you get there to pickup, it's "well we didn't get a chance to look at it, you need to reschedule....."

    JohnBoy Thanks this.
