As I stated before, you Abilene drivers must have the patience of Job. Personally, I could not put up with the "crap" as you do. Just an "outsider" "rushing in where angels fear to tread" LOL Strikes me that middle management does not have their act together. I worked the "peak season" for UPS one year, got to a big hub one night, was told to find an empty and go home. I went thru at least 15 trailers, everyone was full of pallets, I said, "screw it", bobtailed home and quit.

Gotta make up for all those luncheons I missed over the past seven years!

Also: "Luncheon" is a funny word. I don't think it's a word I've ever used in actual conversation. You only see it written down when people wanna gussy up the word "lunch".

Must be doing business with a supplier in Germany. They have always had T.P. that you could write a letter home to Momma on...

Luncheon at Richmond this go around is a taco truck. They got tacos, burritos, and nachos. My plans to stock up on baked beans have been thwarted!

Tacos are pretty good, though. Even got Kolon out there on the porch (at least, I think that's who it is).

Outstanding. One of the previous owners back visiting the old homestead. Probably speechless by what he sees. Stock up on the guacamole. Mention to Charlotte a few of us old hands couldn’t make today’s festivities due to work considerations, but we’ll grab a Loves roller grill tornado.

Got bounced up to NC for a load going to Mechanicsburg, Pa after dropping gatorade in GA. Get to shipper and found out I was given a pickup number to a load that picked up the day before I got there. Fortunately there was another load there going to the same place and got that straightened out and took off. Dropped in Mechanicsburg today and picked up a Volvo load to Byhalia for Monday morning. Low on hrs so Ill have to sit til Tuesday after empty being I gain recaps then. Normally don’t like running recaps cuz mine are usually wonky, especially with this short haul crap, but home time coming up Thursday so Ill just run recaps since I only gotta get to Wytheville. DM is out next week so will see how that goes. Got my annual physical at the VA and hoping my bloodwork comes back better as far as my sugar goes. Been trying to adhere to the nutritionist’s advice I’ve been working with. Starting to wonder if all these new lanes we got that go to Pa are Knight/Swift loads they didn’t want, lol!

Annual physical done. Legal to drive for another year.

They always give me the card, but in 7 years of driving I've only ever had one officer ask for it. Mostly it just sits unloved in my wallet.

Drivers are less likely to walk off with a few rolls of sandpaper too.

    Win/Win
