Yeah, it is huge, so glad they built that new one there in glen allen. Just make sure you pull next to the rail there at the guard shack being the lady is disabled and will complain if she has to walk out to you. When you chock the wheels the light turns red then when they are done it will flash red/green.

Hours of Service did not allow for making it through Baltimore/DC before my clock ran out. Currently parked at the Maryland Rest Area on I-95 between Baltimore and DC. Will be heading out early in the AM to beat DC traffic and make my 7:30am appointment time.

This vegas bh is never on time, lol! Show up for 0430 and it is always after 6 before they get in and open the gate to the dock. Wish they would at least leave the gate unlocked to the dock so I can get backed in and ready to unload soon as they arrive. Better to get in and unloaded and leave before all the other businesses open and park cars in the way.

Ikea from Danville to Joliet. Already pre-planned after that, with a load of Gatorade picking up in Indy and delivering in central Kentucky.

Thankfully got reloaded right after Boar’s Head yesterday morning in Vegas with a load of oil filters going to SC for Tuesday but going to need rescheduled though being Ill be out of hours Sunday when I hit the WM yard. Works out being I need to put my truck in the shop again. Check engine light came on and looking up the code looks like my egr valve might need replaced.

For me the check engine light was on for most of the 4.5 years I worked there. They would only temporarily fix it.

Aside from the lengthy walk to the restrooms, it wasn't any worse than any other rest area I've been in. And they got rid of the half-height toilet stalls at some point in the past, so now you can drop a deuce there without having random lookie-loos gandering over the top of the stall at you doing your business.

Pre-load was not ready due to a lack of empty Abilene trailers at the shipper. They asked me if I wanted to make it a live load, and I said "Sure". But I had a sneaking suspicion that they weren't going to be in any hurry. And sure enough, two hours later, they hadn't even dropped the dock plate. So I told 'em I'd be back in the morning, and moseyed my way to the TA and called it a night.
