Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

I guess acquiring terminals and over paying for a trucking company by a couple of hundred million dollars in the midst of the worse time trucking has ever seen has a lot to do with it. It’s understandable why Dave Jackson, the number one in charge and his $850K yearly salary was fired, oops, my bad, he resigned. I’m thinking it’s a very hostile environment at the offices in Phoenix and Richmond. I’m having a great time enjoying the news out of Phoenix. I figure the $3000 dollars they owe me for the missed 401K contribution is going to cost them a boatload of social media posts.

 

I'm sure the Church back in Salt Lake City will back them up.

They also bought Midwest Motor and Midnight Express here in Fargo, MME is the LTL arm of Midnight Express.

 

After reading that article it appears to me that some of those purchases of other trucking companies was to buy the contract freight to increase “utilization”
