Hey John I haven't said hello in a while, good to see the new gig working out for you, good luck on the new bike too. I've got an '09 RK that just has too much work in it and too low miles for me to actually pull the trigger on a new one but I do like looking. I'm still doing the entertainment stuff, it's not for everybody but for the time being its working for me. Take care JB, and you too Voyager.

Thanks for stopping in Al, glad to hear from you. It's nice to own a bike, but would be nicer if I was able to take it out of the garage more often.

After making arrangements with road service to get the hole repaired in the trailer I picked up I drove the 3 miles to the Wabash trailer dealer. As soon as I got there they had me drop it, backed into a repair bay and had it done in 2 hours. The hole was on the top left front of the trailer, about 12x8 inches in diameter. I don't know how it got there, and really I don't care, but what pissed me off was I had to deal with it.

I was only 4 miles to my pick up and got there at 2pm, got backed right in and was done at 5pm, with no time left on my clock and 10 miles to the closest truck stop. So I pulled out of the dock, lock and sealed the trailer, had supper, then went to bed. I woke up this morning at 5am and drove out to Rockwall Texas to fuel, scale and take a shower.

This load is going right back to Gatorade in Wytheville. I'll have it there tomorrow late afternoon for a drop and hook. I now have to work off my recap, but I pick up 9 & 10 hours every day this next week so it won't be an issue with my hours. As hard as I ran this past week what I pick up everyday going forward is almost like doing a reset. Be safe all. God Bless.

Oops, miscalculated my hours off my recap. I was rolling at 2am this morning after spending the night hooked up to idleaire in West Memphis. I had 585 miles to go and 13 hours left on my 70. I drove straight through only stopping once for my half hour break. I dropped my trailer in Wytheville at 12:15. I only pick up 2.5 hours after midnight, add that to the 3 I have left and it leaves not enough to do anything. So, I'm doing a reset here in Wytheville. I need the break anyway, I'm getting to old for this all night driving. Once a year is enough for me, not 4 in one week. Say good night Johnboy!

Ok, dropped my trailer, and went to the J at the 80mm which is just 5 miles where I dropped the trailer, and 3 miles from our Wytheville yard. I woke up and decided to get my truck washed. We are allowed a truck wash within 60 days of a service. Abilene puts a PO# in the Blue Beacon system and all we do is drive in and get it washed. It needed it, I have it washed every week I'm in the yard, time permitting, but this last 2 weeks it's rained so much that this truck of mine was a mess. It now looks good and tomorrow I will tackle the inside. Then off to Walmart to restock on some needed items. Today was a lazy, do nothing but relax and rest day. Knowing how Abilene works, they know that my reset is up at 5am Tuesday, so I'm positive I'll get a dispatch to leave out at exactly that time.

For your viewing pleasure. Sorry, I couldn't help it, I enjoy looking at and admiring a clean truck. even if it's the one I drive.
