Our cruise is over, back to big truck driving on Tuesday. We had a blast, we took our daughter and grandson with us. Watching the 6 year old on the ship was exactly what my wife wanted. He starts school on Monday, my wife has 3 closings scheduled this week and I go back out Tuesday. February can't get here fast enough, Pop Pop and Na Na are going on another cruise with friends to celebrate this old mans 60th birthday. Here are a few pictures of a truck driver acting like a kid, wait, isn't that most of us?

    I was texting with my protégé, ex-trainee now full fledged solo driver Jason while I was on the ship. So far so good. In fact, I'm rather proud of how well he's doing.

    My last instructions, subject to change, was to report to the Wytheville Terminal tomorrow morning. I am to meet my next trainer there but not sure what time that will happen. So if anyone here is swinging past Wytheville or picking up/dropping off, come look me up.

    Awesome... I will try not to wear out his saint like qualities... lol

    Something tells me that someone in Richmond forgot to tell him about meeting me here this morning... But it's all good... It all pays the same, for now anyway.

    I guess I am only with him for a few days... Not sure what happens after that but I will just go with the flow and enjoy the ride.
