But in all seriousness, enjoying Abilene a lot and looking forward to being here in the future. The "camping out" in the trucks of others is already getting a bit old but the first three months will fly by and I will be better off for the time spent with the drivers.

Getting another Trainer on Monday... Three Weeks, Three Trainers.... I must be a very challenging student...

What's the record number of Trainers during ones first three months... LOL

If your trainer isn't letting you back at every opportunity, he's doing you a major disservice.

Well, I won't disagree about needing to learn more backing skills being a good service to the trainees... But... I see the dispatches the truck receives and it's not possible to make the deadlines given with out first team driving a bit and sleeping to catch up from said team driving. This past week I can honestly say there was only one time frame, at a good open location, to even attempt to practice my backing.

So I can't personally accuse the trainer of doing a disservice to me... Hoping next week includes more backing as that is the only part that I am not confident doing... Oh, and NYC too... lol

Then let's not tell them... Besides, all the cooties were removed during my visit for my Medical Card.

I trained at Abilene, if my student was awake, he was backing in. There will never be a perfect situation to practice.

So when do I hop on your truck for a couple weeks? :)

I will be specifically requesting more backing time with my next trainer on Monday.

Just remember.... IMO the key to backing is 90% in getting set up properly. Good luck on your training, Abilene is a top notch company.

Just like shooting pool, if you don't get the angle right you miss the hole.
