They've changed the program about trainees. You now will get a new trainer for each stage, unless said trainer has extended home time, gets sick or you two don't get along, then it becomes a revolving door. I finished with my last trainee and had him for 3 months, only because he wanted to stay on my truck with me.

Sitting in Hemet Ca at my drop. I started my reset, will get these 8 coolers off in the morning and be done with the reset at 3am Tuesday. I left the house this past Tuesday and have been trying to figure out why I burnt through my hours. I only have 9.5 hours left on my 70 and pick up only 6.5 Tuesday at midnight. My paid miles to here since leaving the house? 3894. If I go straight back to Richmond I'll have 6550 paid for the pay period, with a reset in. Me's tired.

You came back out with a bang, John! Nice miles.

I'm sitting in my hotel suite (Yes, suite!) in Lafayette LA. My home for the next 3 days during orientation. The hotel not only has complimentary breakfast, they have complimentary dinner as well. The company flew me here, rented me a nice car, and will be flying me home, along with a few other perks. It's been strange how good this seems to be. I just hope it continues and that I like the same-ness of running back and forth to Chester every day and pulling containers.

Sorry I missed giving you a hug to say goodbye. Moms are one of a kind and we only have one. You take care of mom. Good luck in your new job. Abilene will surely miss you as will I. God bless you and your mom. Stop in and say hello when you can.
