I know what you were saying; however, I was told that in order to be home every weekend I would have to run strictly into the northeast. I can't say what anyone else was told, just what I was told 2 days ago. No one trained me to drive up there. I was just thrown into it. No big deal. I just hate the traffic. I just put on my northeast mentality hat and roll. Not easy, being the sweet southern flower that I am!

    See, there is the rub...
One is talking to a Recruiter...
One is talking to a Fleet Manager...
    One before they get hired...
    One after they get hired...

    Two different people...
    Two different answers...

Glad you're entertained. Just proves a bit of what I've said all along about the inequality here. We've got 5speed saying he was home every weekend as a regional, but I'm told it's not possible. Eh, it's all good.

RC is 100% correct, you need to be in the right place at the right time. It's taken me almost 3 years to figure this company out. I think I have, that's why I run the way I do. Here's a little insight about this company, take every load they give you and run with it. Unfortunately that includes NYC and that mess up there. I have a passport and have been to British Columbia, Alberta, Toronto, Montreal and Nova Scotia with Abilene. Some folks don't like going to these places, I get that, I don't mind. I'm no better then the next driver here, what I share with people is what I do. It seems to work for me.

I was. I'm out of Wytheville. Does that effect it any? But I swear I was. I'm back otr now though. I was a regional driver a total of 8 weeks home 8 weekends.

5speed, it may have something to do with it. The crew out there don't really play favorites. If you've got hours and they've got loads, they give them on a fcfs basis.
