While it is a great company, yes, I must agree, their hiring standards slipped just a bit last fall... Seems like you didn't even need to know how to back a combo vehicle and they would toss you in the seat... Thankfully they fired that lazy recruiter and the quality of drivers has risen considerably since then... WHEW

Well today (day 2) of being on the yard. Thankfully a mechanic did wake me up to take my truck in for a service so hopefully I'll get out of here today. Besides watching tv, ease dropping on everyone's conversations and giving my opinion in my head, and eating chinese food I'm very bored. Seen a couple new 17 KWs. They're ok I guess. Be safe everyone

Been a good pay period this time. About time. On the down side, I was supposed to be home yesterday, but am in Houston, 1400 miles from home. It's all good as I didn't have any plans this time around. Should have over 6700 miles before end of the pay period. Best check ever! And since it's taking me almost another week to get home, I get an extra day off to boot. Another bonus? Avoiding all the nasty weather heading east that I would've been in all the way home. Win, win situation!
