Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Welp I applied last Friday,just waiting to hopefully hear something back.Figure,if haven't heard something by end of the week will give them a holler.

 

I do know they are busy with apps. Not so much orientation, but weeding through the not able to hire bunch. My trainee that came out 2 weeks ago was the only one accepted, the others were told to try the flipping of hamburgers route.

But, do call tomorrow just to check on your application, persistence always trumps waiting.

 

Got my reload info. Drop and hook in Homerville Ga tomorrow afternoon after swinging by Tampa to pick up Carl. I'll be on the road at 6am, pick him up at 10 then be in Homerville at 3. I'll be dropping this in Richmond. My new truck needs the frond end looked at, it seems they forgot to balance the tires, I'm driving around with my head bouncing like a basketball.

 

Yeah I figured might be busy didn't feel out till fri night.If haven't heard back by lunch tomorrow will give them a call.

 

I put in an app the other day (Monday). Called and spoke to a nice lady today. Said safety has to do the background checks first and then she said she would let me know. I am based in the NW so I am hoping they will give me a shot.

 

Please plan to give them a call ... They seem to be swamped lately... We only have two recruiters at the moment... So don't read anything into it if they don't get back to you.

I assure you, it's worth the wait...

We hire from all over... Don't see why we wouldn't want a good driver from the NW.

 

There is one day cab that is a super 10 unless they sold it. You're otr so that doesn't matter to you. The driver told me he was the only that drives it. Nobody else wanted to drive it.
