Not sure what to advise except keep on them... Maybe call a few hours before you expect to drop hoping that will help focus them on setting up your next load.

That and hoping things switch up next week.

 

Well, I'm a runner. Not a sitter. I'm getting a passport and TWIC card so I can roll. I want to make money, not get a suntan.

Save your money on the twic card, in three years here I used it once, my last job I used it twice in 4 years.

 

I'm getting assistance for the passport and TWIC card. No worries.

How much is this "salary" a week for orientation and training? And how did they do the first pay check?

 

Stage 1 is $75 per day for all days out. Stage 2 is $85 per day, stage 3 is $100 per day. Our new pay period starts after midnight tonight and ends 2 weeks from today.

 

Well, if it's any comfort, I just got my second load with lots of extra time on it too.

First I had a load to Indy with an extra 24 hours on it... I had just requested a drive by the house as my wife still is hobbled at home and needed some help. But halfway there I got a call asking "uh, where you going?"... lol ... Oops... Guess I misread that extra day as drive by home time... Nope... lol

Now I get to the Wytheville yard and am given a load with an extra 34 hours on it... And no, I don't need a reset... LOL

So I guess I will mosey on up to PA and NJ for two Monday morning drops. At least I will get an extra stop out of it...
