Well... It's a very creative and ingenious plan... When the 13 fell out from under me I ended up in a 14.... If this one should "fail" then they give me your 15... Rinse n Repeat... Until I get a brand spanking new one like some of these new guys are getting... :D ... LOL

I'd MUCH rather get a truck and keep it for a while. When I move in I move in. I'll require a moving service to change trucks.

I prefer Freightliners myself. But I have only driven Internationals in school. I have not driven a Volvo before.

I've driven Volvo's coast to coast and border to border; both automatics and stick shift. They're great trucks to drive and very comfortable.

I love my Volvo with iShift... Hope I am never asked to change... But I will gladly drive any truck on the lot if asked to change.

I agree... When I changed from 1313 to 1405 I thought to myself... I don't mind waiting for it to be repaired... LOL

Now, should someone decide to toss my hind quarters in a brand spanking new Volvo... I might consider doing it again... But then I would also expect to stay in that truck for three years... LOL

But seriously, I am just happy we have darn decent equipment here at Abilene... While I have had a few issues, just reading some of the other threads here remind me it could be much much worse.

I don't like the idea of giving new hires brand new trucks. Seems like a huge risk to me. But, I'll drive what they issue me, and I will love it and squeeze it and call him George!

Freightliners are very reliable but don't care for the windshield and height. Volvo looks more comfortable for sure.
