Well been here not only a week yet,and meet the infamous Johnboy yesterday.He's a really nice guy,gave me his number told me to call if I had any problems.By the way Midwest or any body else if you see 1438 feel free to come say hello.

Well got unloaded in Reno,and sent my dm a message told him only had 18hrs for the next 3 days,did he just want me to finish up 34 which I was half way in or what .Told me just finish it. Asked him if he could get something lined up for morning,said they would probably shoot me something later hope so.

 

Well now, this isn't suppose to happen. Was empty at 6:30 this morning, sent in my empty call, then drove back to the truck stop. Been here ever since. I sent in my first QC message just asking if there was anything yet, the response was "they are working on securing a load for you" Really? I sent back a response of, "this wasn't a surprise that I showed up here this morning empty, was it"? And I finished it with, "actually, we showed up here Saturday evening, and we are 45 hours into a reset" No answer.

 

Does the trainee get booked into a hotel for those resets?

 

Yeah man I sent in my message,didn't get a response,so I called in got in touch with dm.I know there was a solo driver that came in after us that got a broker load picking up in Washington,but he said he'd been sitting on his or for 2 days,do I'm sure that's why.

 

Dought it,but they told me if the truck is going to be in the shop for more than 10hr break they'll put you in one.

 

No, that's why we have double bunks. Now, if I want, I'll get a motel on my dime, for myself. If the trainee wants a room it's on his dime. To be quite honest, it hasn't happened in the 3 years I've been here. Usually we get a rolling reset.
