If I couldn't make delivery doing a 34 then i would go for recap (may come to that) but starting the week with 70 is easier for me to work with until i get the hang of HOS

I live Apple products. I wouldn't mind getting the Sony tablet though. I love Sony too. I had Galaxy S-3 it was nice. I got an IPhone now though.

Im hunkered down in IN ready to weather a 34hr reset. 3 truck stops in walking distance so bring it on.

Looking through my math again I might even be able to make it to the Richmond yard Sunday night. Can't see them letting me drop trailer for a local guy with it due 8am next morning. Still, Richmond by close of day Sunday is my goal and you gotta have those.

That's why it's good to have options in the market place... I love my Apple Ecosystem but, like trucking companies, it's not for everyone.

Check out all the options... There are a few routing options on the left menu... It's NOT truck routes but when you are driving mostly interstates it works just fine to give you only the selected items over your whole route instead of the default big circle.

    I love that app.

I had an old iphone 3gs (bought used) and really liked the interface and ease of use but just couldn't justify the additional cost over android when it came time to upgrade.

I still have an ipod that is coming up on 10 years old. Still works great which is more than i can say for that cursed itunes i have to use to manage it.

Oh yes... Wasn't trying to say one way was better... Pros and Cons with any option... Comes down to personal preferences and how one wants to run the truck.

As long as the freight is moving. :)

I used an iPhone 4S for like four years... So I tend to view the cost over a much longer period and so, in my mind, it's actually very economical to buy Apple products... Same with their Computers... I had a 2006 iMac that just failed me last year before moving to NC... That's nine years .... Then I bought a MacBook Pro in 2010... Used it for a year, then gave it to my oldest daughter for college... I will now be upgrading her to a new MacBook for grad school so I will get the 2010 MacBook back for use in the Truck... So it's now at six years and still running strong.

So yes, one may pay more up front... But ##### do the get great mileage. YMMV

That "Apple Tax" is cheap in the long view.

    Ok, done preaching... LOL

I thought I was the only one holding on to an old iPod. 3rd generation. Little bitty thing. Use it all the time. Over 700 songs on it and still going strong. My son was cleaning out a closet and found his old one not too long ago. I think was 4th gen. Even smaller. Gotta love technology.
