I can see that. I'm just a young pup at 53 and looking to get started again. I actually do like to break it up though. Maybe 20/80 ... 30/70ish. Running at night all the time does get to wearing you down some.

I'm in Maryland for the night I guess. A new gator lane according to Wytheville dispatch. 6pm appt. Arrive at 5. It's 8 and I'm still waiting for a dock, along with another Abilene brother/sister and 5 other trucks. .....monday

 

Ill second that. With the crazy and all..... night time was best time to work for my last two main jobs...hotel clerk and police officer, and now trucker. Heck, done it so long sometimes that big yellow ball freaks me out...lol

My morning has started out in the Twilight Zone. My load was due today at 5:30 am but I received a macro telling me to leave here at 3:45 am to switch trailers in Tennessee yesterday at 5 am. I arrived 45 min early to my 5:30 appt (ignored the macro) only to learn my appt is for 6. Please park by the light pole Honey.

They didn't show you the "travel back in time" button on the dash of the truck??? Maybe that's only an option on the Volvos.

 

On the Richmond yard today. Spent 12 hours at that PBC in Maryland. Just put a write up in at the shop to get my truck serviced. Maybe it'll be quick to get in and out.
